opened its doors to the public
on the evening of Wednesday,
15 October 1980.
It was originally a
Joshua Tetley & Sons
establishment.
Today,
the Jovial Monk remains
a friendly, family run pub
which enjoys a good regular
clientele, serves a wide
selection of fine beers and
wines and also a tasty range
of bar meals and snacks.
